The Hanson Brothers, named after the pugilistic force field hockey siblings in the Paul Newman plastic moving picture Slapshot, forewent the coordination compound rhythms and funk/jazz tendencies of its mother group to enjoy in dumb-punk tribute to the Ramones. While the mathematical group falls far curt of looking like the Ramones, they do holler out out song countdowns like their heroes and offer such takeoff offerings as "Blitz Hops" (sampling lyrical: "Hey! You! Let's Brew!). The group's debut LP, 1992's Gross Misconduct, made no castanets about beingness in the spirit of slow sport and short else.
